Helium Tanks Rentals
The Party Shop offers a variety of options for renting helium tanks.
To rent tank customers must provide a valid driver’s license and sign a rental agreement form. All tanks will require a security deposit of either $50.00 or $100.00 depending on the tank. Deposits can be paid in cash or by credit card; we will not accept personal checks. All deposits will be returned once the tank and the regulators are returned. Our tanks are NOT disposable they are cast iron tanks that must be returned.
How the rental process works:
All tank rentals include the tank and the regulator valve used to inflate the balloons. Tank rentals do not include balloons; we sell balloons separately including latex and mylar. Tank rentals are for 4 days. Customers needing the tanks for extended use may request so at the time of rental. The extended rental policy cost is $12.00 per week which is approximately $1.74 per day. The cost for extended use will be deducted from the original deposit. The weekly charge will not start to until after the 4th day of the rental has ended.
An example of an extended rental use is as follows. A customer renting any sized tank picks the tank up and returns it 9 days later. The customer will then be billed for 5 days @ $1.74 a day because they kept the tank 5 days after the included 4 days. The total charge to the customer would be $8.70 plus tax which would be deducted from the deposit. It is our policy to try and accommodate customers who need tanks for prolonged periods of time.
Which tank is right for you?
Customers should select the helium tank they need based upon the amount of balloons they are trying to inflate, or the specific task they are trying to accomplish.
We stock the following size tanks: 30, 80, and 200. What this means to the customer.
Our smallest size tank will inflate 75, 11’ inch latex balloons. The cost of rental is $30.00 with a $50.00 security deposit.
Our next size tank (80) will inflate between 200-215, 11’ inch latex balloons. $50.00 rental price and $50.00 security deposit.
Our largest size tank (200) will inflate roughly 500, 11 inch latex balloons. Rental price is $120.00 with a $100.00 security deposit.
Additional information:
Customers should be aware that the larger the tank size the heavier the tank and more cumbersome to handle. Customers looking to inflate several hundred balloons may be better off to rent multiple size 80 tank because they are easier to handle and more than one person can be used for the inflating process. The more people inflating balloons the faster the process. Customers needing tanks delivered or picked up will be treated by a case by case scenario. Our everyday policy is customer pick up only but, depending on the staff available and circumstance we are able to work which customers on an individual bases, especially for large events or special circumstances. Base delivery charges start at $15.00
